A breakfast bap but not as you know it! A simple twist on the traditional which will give any day a tasty start. It may be a bit of a mouthful but totally worth getting in a mess for!
Ingredients
- 1 Grasmere Farm Pork & Apple Burger
- 2 rashers of Grasmere Farm Dry-cured Back Bacon
- 1 Hambleton 7 Cereal Roll or Breakfast Muffin
- Whole Free Range Egg
- Avocado
- Slice of Tomato
- 1 tbsps of Grasmere Farm Red Onion Marmalade
Method
Step 1
Make sure both Pork & Apple Burger and Bacon are at room temperature. Prepare the avocado and slice the tomato ready to make this amazing Breakfast stack. Slice and butter the roll.
Step 2
Cook the Pork & Apple Burger from room temperature. Either grill or fry. To Grill: Preheat the grill to medium. Place on the rack and grill for 10-13 minutes, turning regularly. To Shallow Fry: Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan. Fry on a medium heat for 6-10 minutes, turning regularly.
Step 3
Once the Burger is nearly cooked grill or the fry the Dry-cured Bacon till crispy or to your liking. At this stage you may wish to grill or cook your sliced tomato as well. Fry the Egg on a high heat, preferably in a ring and turn over so the Egg is sealed each side.
Step 4
When the Burger, Egg and Bacon are cooked it is time to put together the stack. We suggest Avocado on the bottom half of the roll/muffin, followed by the Pork & Apple Burger. Then the sliced Tomato, Fried Egg and Bacon rashers and then finally the secret ingredient- our Red Onion Marmalade. Finish the stack with the top slice of the roll or muffin.
Step 5
Serve the Breakfast stack as is, with that all important cup of coffee or tea. Now you ready for the day!
