Grasmere Farm is an award winning pork farm with three butchers shops selling products from meat raised, butchered and prepared on the farm – from Sausage Rolls to prime Tenderloin.
We’re a family-run business, and our absolute passion is providing our customers with delicious, tender cuts of meat, expertly prepared and hand crafted by our team of experienced butchers.
Whether it is pork reared on the farm or poultry, beef and lamb sourced from our trusted network of local farms - complete traceability and a real care for food values and provenance assures our customers that excellent quality and local sourcing is paramount to us.
Grasmere Farm’s Hampshire-cross pigs are at the heart of our business from breeding and raising them on the farm to butchering them onsite and selling the pork products in our shops and markets.
“Our pigs are kept in open straw yards and expertly reared to traditional farming methods” says Grasmere’s founder Stuart Stables.
Stuart’s family has farmed in south Lincolnshire since 1969. Since then the business has built an enviable reputation in the region. We now supply a number of award winning pubs and restaurants with our sausages and wide range of products.
We are proud of our reputation for sausages which are delicious and bursting with flavour. From our traditional and famous Lincolnshire Sausage seasoned with sage, to the unique and multi-award winning Smoked Rutland Sausage, there is a sausage for every palate and mood.
Our Bacon is Dry-cured resulting in a depth of flavour and succulent texture without adding water. We also slowly smoke some of our Bacon over Hickory chippings to give a rich, aromatic, faintly sweet flavour which won us best in the country at the national Bacon Connoisseur's competition.
